Process of a painting

This is an abbreviated version of my painting process. Lately I've been starting with a digital sketch (upper right). Then I make a hand-drawn line sketch (upper left). Next I blow it up to size (bottom).


Then I paint. I try to start with the back, because you can tell when someone paints the background around the subject. It's not as visually pleasing.




And finito!
